As ASMC leaders travel to our many chapters, we observe widely varying attendance at chapter meetings and functions. Some chapters of roughly equal size seem able to attract a substantial number of members to many of their functions, while others do not. As we talk to chapter leaders, most believe that the nature and quality of presentations at the chapter meetings determines attendance. What do you find most of interest at ASMC meetings? Are you looking for technical presentations in your field? Presentations that broaden your professional or personal knowledge? Presentations by FM or service/agency leaders? Or other topics?
